The Dragon's Rage: My 29th Birthday...

Looks like i've grown another year and closer to the big three-oh. yeah. am i suppose to be happy? am i wiser now? i really cant tell coz i still feel the same. but i guess as u grow older u grow in ur own way. be it being more wiser or not it all depends on wat u went thru over the years or the past year. for me life has its ups and downs and it has seriously showed me how to plan things abt my life and teach me a few things abt patience (heh..except on the road that is..hah!). abt the importance of family and wonders of having sincere and honest friends. despite having some problems i'll always thank God for giving a wonderful and fulfilling life. i have no complaints (well except for my sucky job that is..heh).

anyhoo, i should have wrote this a while back on my birthday itself, but i couldnt bring to do it at that time...pretty busy and a little lazy as well..but today i'm bloggin abt my b-day and wat happened..

last thursday on the 12th met up with a few frens frm the notorious Red Team (love u guys!). not all cud make it since it was on such short notice but the company that came was just as good enough. we 'berbuka' at Dominos Pizza (pepperoni...ooohhh...) and had some cake which i brought for the team. to my surprise they got me a gift...never thought that a group of ppl would contribute in giving me something. it was touching and seeing the present itself was...i dunno wat to say...it was a DC Superheroes action figure of SUPERMAN! woohooo!! i was speechless and the only thing i cud utter was thank you (many times i tell u..many times..). then we stopped by Aunty Lenny's shop so i can get myself a present as well and to my surprise again Aunty gave me a present as well..a Keroro Robo model kit! my GOD! i was touched again!

after leaving Endah Parade with my Luvbug...i cant help but to smile and thank my frens in my heart. it was the best b-day i had.

until the next day. boy was i in another shocker.

arrived in the mail was a parcel made for me. i got home and mum told me abt it so i quickly went to see wat it was. as far as i remember i din order anything online...so wen i opened...lo and behold! a gift from a forum friend (thanks 'oldman'!..no...i'm not making it up..his nickname is oldman..hahaha). it was customised stand for my Gundam models. it had the Zero-G logo embedded on it! (this was truly heartfelt since i never thought to see my beloved forum logo immortalized this way..). aside the stand, there was also some handlers to put my parts for airbrushing and a packet of custom parts for my models!

i seriously dunno wat i have done to deserve this all and the only thing i can say is thank you my frens. you've all have given me the best b-day i've had for these past 29 years. not that all my b-days werent great, but this was the first that i have received gifts frm frens. thank you all.

heh..must be wondering if my LuvBug got me anything. yep. she did or she will. but her gift is going to be in a blog of its own. why? coz she's my LuvBug thats why.
